Fundació COAC awards Cooperation Grants to five local and international projects
The Fundació COAC has resolved the 2026 Cooperation Grants call and has selected five projects related to architecture and urbanism. This is the first edition in which the management of these grants falls directly to the Foundation, which administers the budget approved by the Governing Board of the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC).
This year applications were received totalling €111,966, even though the budget approved for this call is €47,000. In light of this, the panel agreed to prioritise projects with clear architectural impact, solid local involvement and a strong focus on knowledge transfer. Each of the five selected projects received between €7,000 and €10,000, a criterion aimed at ensuring a fair distribution of the available funds and safeguarding the real viability of each initiative.
